About Me
Dr. James Anderson was born and raised in Barrie, Ontario. He went to Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas to compete on the varsity baseball team while receiving a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He then continued his education at New York Chiropractic College (NYCC), where he graduated with honours. While at NYCC, he received an Advanced Certificate in Sport Science and Human Performance as well as the Frank P. DeGiacomo Technique Award for his mastery in chiropractic techniques and practices.
He is also certified in the upper and lower extremity courses of Athletic Movement Assessment and Functional Movement Taping levels 1 and 2 of RockTape. While completing his Doctorate of Chiropractic, he also completed the Neurofunctional Acupuncture Program through the McMaster University.
Dr. Anderson loves to work with athletes and those looking to move better. He enjoys using the techniques that he has learned to help people get back to what they want to do. He enjoys staying active through baseball, cycling, triathlons, crossfit, golfing, kayaking, hockey, hiking and anything that keeps him moving. He understands that injuries can keep people from the activities they love, and he wants to be there for those who want to get back to being active.

We also like to work as a team to get you to the next level. With each of us having our own strengths we can use them in collaboration to give you unparalleled treatment.
Chiropractic
Chiropractors use the best evidence, clinical expertise, and hands-on therapies to diagnose and treat issues that affect the body’s movement. The treatments don’t use medications or surgery to help you improve your quality of life and the quality of your sports performance. Rather we use our hands, knowledge and your body’s natural ability to alleviate pain, and increase your mobility.
Massage Therapy
Registered Massage Therapists assess and treat physical dysfunction and pain of the soft tissues and joints of the body. They use hands-on therapies that help to improve function, increase range of motion, and relieve pain. They treat a variety of symptoms and injuries such as neck/back pain, headaches and sports injuries.
Athletic Performance
Our goal here at Sinclair Sports Medical Center is to help you improve your game by 10% or more through evidence based individualized treatment plans. Whether you see one practitioner or the whole team, we want to either get you back to your sport after an injury or help you get to the next level and one step closer to your dream.
